Dandy
& the Lions, an exciting and energetic band out of Cleveland, MS, are
slated to appear as the feature entertainment at this year’s Toast to Heal
Hearts benefitting Healing Hearts Child Advocacy Center. This young band has
taken their Delta roots to heart, performing songs that range from sweet folk
to gritty bluegrass. Dandy & the Lions have appeared in venues across the
Deep South including Hal & Mal’s in Jackson, MS, Hey Joe’s in their hometown
of Cleveland, and Hard Rock Café on Beale in Memphis.
Get
ready to stomp your feet and enjoy an evening of great entertainment on
November 1. The party is happening from 6 – 9 p.m. at the DeSoto Arts Council
Gallery and Gardens as the Banks House in Hernando. For a preview of Dandy
& Lions, find their music online or see them live this Saturday, October 5th,
on the Riverside Drive Jefferson Street stage at Oktoberfest. Bring your
dancing shoes!
