Individuals and Corporations Supporting the CAC

Healing Hearts Child Advocacy Center operates strictly on grants and fundraising. To ensure that every dollar from both corporate and individual donations can go directly to the Center, "Friends of the CAC" have underwritten the cost of Toast to Heal Hearts 2013. In this way Toast to Heal Hearts empowers Healing Hearts CAC to provide comprehensive, coordinated and compassionate services to victims of child abuse. 

Individual and corporate support is acknowledged at several levels.

$5000 or more donation – Healing Hearts Advocate Level sponsors receive:

• A link from Healing Hearts CAC website
• Name or logo on invitation
• Recognition prior to and during the event
• 8 admissions to the event and 8 t-shirts
• Tax deductible donation.

$2500 donation – Healing Hearts Protector Level sponsors receive:

• A link from Healing Hearts CAC website
• Name or logo on invitation
• Recognition prior to and during the event
• 6 admissions to the event and 6 t-shirts
• Tax deductible donation.

$1000 donation – Healing Hearts Partner Level sponsor receives:

• A link from Healing Hearts CAC website
• Name or logo on invitation
• Recognition prior to and during the event
• 4 admissions to the event and 4 t-shirts
• Tax deductible donation.

$500 donation – Healing Hearts Friend Level sponsors receive:

• A link from Healing Hearts CAC website

• Recognition prior to and during the event
• 2 admissions to the event and 2 t-shirts

What's New This Year With Toast to Heal Hearts

Toast to Heal Hearts 2013 is expected to be even more successful than 2012 with an anticipated attendance of over 200. In just one year the event will have outgrown the venue of a private home. The DeSoto Arts Council Gallery and Gardens at the Banks House in Hernando is the new location for this year’s event. This venue is lovely and can very comfortably accommodate the guests while maintaining the special feel and atmosphere of last year’s event.

Another unique aspect of Toast to Heal Hearts 2013 is that the event is hosted by a group of individuals, "Friends of the CAC." These hosts have invited those they know who share a heart for the children of DeSoto County. This event gives these caring people an opportunity to financially support the CAC while raising awareness of child abuse. Because the expense of producing Toast to Heal Hearts is being underwritten one hundred present by private individuals, every dollar raised through guest contributions and corporate supporters goes directly to Healing Hearts Child Advocacy Center! This is crucial to the Center’s operation, as the CAC operates solely on grants and donations.

This year’s event is shaping up to be a phenomenal evening. Craft beer from two brand new breweries making their DeSoto County debut will be offered in addition to wine as part of the tasting. An incredible ‘folkgrass’ band, Dandy & the Lions, is the featured entertainment. Fantastic items and packages have been secured for this year’s raffle.
